Happy New Year, beautiful people. I thought about giving y’all an end of year snapshot of some 2023 magical moments. But honestly, there were too many pics to choose from and I know y’all don’t have time to view hundreds of 2023 special moments. So, know that 2023 was a wonderful year. My word was “untethered” and I told y’all I was going to be “untethered for overflow.” Free. Intentionally not bogged down by negativity, toxicity, and pessimism. Purposeful, optimistic, and productive. Mission accomplished!
My word for 2024 is “seize” and my plan is to “seize the moment.” One definition of seize is to take (an opportunity or initiative) eagerly and decisively. I’m dancing into the new year with much anticipation, clarity, and joy. The dance card is full and I am excited about every step that will be taken and every move that will be made.
I will keep you updated throughout the year and I want to hear from you. Please let me know how you are seizing the moments to make a difference in this world. I already know there will be times when we will have to “take it by force” (IYKYK 🙏🏾) and seize moments to make things better for others and to claim our blessings. Sometimes it will be easy and other times it will be hard. But we will not miss the moment. The moment to heal. The moment to help. The moment to change the trajectory of someone’s life. Together, we will embrace the moments to do the easy stuff and the hard stuff. Come on 2024, we are ready to seize!
